What lasts a lifetime?
Our second virtual conference was held on 24th March 2021. The pandemic caused us to stop and reflect on the needs of children and their families. Adults and children have all faced unexpected challenges in the last 18 months. Our Conference Speakers, Steve Biddulph and Naomi Stadlen, explored how early experiences and the role of the family continue influence us.
What about the children? a critical question in a time of change
When the pandemic hit in 2020 our national annual conference was postponed. Six months later in September 2020 we were able to invite our speakers to deliver our first online conference. The changes that COVID-19 has brought to our world have been as profound for babies, children, their parents and carers as for anyone. Yet the emotional needs of these children are unchanged now, as they have been for millennia. The speakers at the conference underlined both that continuity and that change.
